Eight voice analog drum machine & sampler

True analog punch

What really sets the Analog Rytm MKII apart is the analog sound. It has a magic character. The depth of the kick drums, the bite of the snare drums, those cavernous toms, the airy shimmer of the hihats. Fine-tune the sounds to your liking and get working.

Elevated by samples

For ultimate creative versatility you can layer samples on top of the analog drum sounds. Capture your own sounds, or use pre-recorded material, to make your beats as smooth, as rough, as realistic or as fantastic as you’d like. The perfect unity of analog percussion and sampling simply goes beyond.

Maximized playability

When you’ve got your drums ready, record them to the sequencer and play them back. Do it using the pads, or perform detailed programming on the sequencer steps. Really meticulous or totally spontaneous: it’s up to you.

Building upon the success of the original, the Elektron Analog Rytm MKII offers several enhancements including sampling capabilities, an OLED screen, durable backlit buttons (rated for 50 million presses), precision encoders, quick performance controls, larger pads, increased number of dedicated buttons, expression/CV inputs, balanced sampling inputs, Overbridge with higher bandwidth, and a premium cast-aluminum enclosure. With the balanced inputs, you can now sample directly into the instrument, while the OLED display offers crisp, clear viewing in low-light conditions. Additional buttons have been added to the interface to enable a faster workflow.

The Analog Rytm MKII is an eight-voice drum machine that marries the sounds and sensibilities of analog-generated sounds with digital samples. Each voice accesses dedicated analog circuits, fine-tuned for generating specific analog drum sounds. For additional flexibility, each voice can also be combined with customizable samples.

There are twelve analog percussion synthesis models that enable full compatibility with Overbridge. Multiple tools are available for shaping the sound, with every voice having its own analog multi-mode filter and analog distortion circuit. Reverb and delay send effects add additional shaping possibilities, and an analog compressor and analog distortion on the master channel apply the requisite vibe to the final output.

The twelve backlit velocity- and pressure-sensitive drum pads provide a quick way of creating rhythms without stifling spontaneity. The built-in step sequencer allows for manipulating sounds on a per-step basis. The combination of drum pads and step sequencing gives both instant results and the opportunity for detailed editing.

Overbridge is a software extension that allows for the use of Elektron's analog hardware as a plug-in within a DAW. Design sounds on-screen using an intuitive and dedicated plug-in, or use the knobs and keys on the Analog instrument, or do both at the same time. Enjoy precise synchronization and automation. Use the strengths of the Elektron sequencer and the software sequencer to get the best of both worlds.
